Benefits of a Stakeholder Dialogue

So here today we came as Hitachi to do a stakeholder dialogue to ask the input of the stakeholders on our sustainability strategy all sorts of choices we made in terms of the SDGs.
所以我們今天代表日立製作所，來主辦一個利害關係人之間的對話。詢問利害關係人一系列為了配合聯合國永續發展目標，我們計畫置入的永續發展對策。

Some of what CSR Europe brings to us is the ability to link in and access to stakeholders across Europe, and a wide range of stakeholders in different sectors.
歐洲企業社會責任組織帶給我們的，是和歐洲各國利害關係人聯繫和接近的門路，並且能與更多不同領域的利害關係人接觸。

What I experienced yesterday at the CSR Europe dialogue that I participated in was somehow unique.
我昨天在歐洲企業社會責任組織主辦的對談講座中，體驗到的是非常獨特的經驗。

CSR Europe had brought together a big set of actors, people from civil society, observers. And essentially, this is the most important part of the capacity of CSR Europe is to bring people from the European community.
歐洲企業社會責任組織集合了非常海量的關係人來參與，比如：公民社會組織和觀測員。基本上，歐洲企業社會責任組織最重要的任務，就是將整個歐洲社會的人民引導進相關對話。

CSR Europe also provides a very open environment for stakeholders to talk.
歐洲企業社會責任組織也提供一個非常自由的環境讓利害關係人進行對話。

So we know that they’re providing us with the information in an open way, and that they’re happy to discuss topics that normally in another environment they wouldn’t.
因此我們可以放心地知道，他們提供的資訊是完全公正公開的，並且他們非常樂意探討那些其他地方不願意探討的議題。

The setting was just good, because the number of people was just right and we had a lot of exchanges which was completely open.
這樣的設定非常完美，因為參與的關係人數量很適切，並且我們有非常多公開的交流行為。

Bring a different, but complementary perspective.

Have some more social innovation grounded perspective, working with social entrepreneurs and their needs, and the opportunities for collaboration.
我們希望能看到更多以社會創新為立足點的願景，和社會上的企業家合作、了解他們的需求，並創造合作關係。

I read the documents that were provided, I did some additional google search a bit and I have one or two conversations with colleagues on the topic and potential ideas and insights that we can bring to the discussion.
我會事先閱讀一些準備好的資料、做一些額外搜尋，並且稍微和同事針對這個主題的淺力提出洞察報告，以便日後在討論的時候提出。

Stakeholder dialogue process allows us to really understand external views and
allows us to process and think about maybe what we can change, or what we might consider changing because of the result of the outcomes and what we hear.
利害關係人對話的促成，除了讓我們熟諳外界的觀點之外，也促使我們思考、經辦任何改變的可能性。同時也針對後續成果及當下聽聞的新知來考慮進行改革。

So the real value in the stakeholder dialogue is the evidence and the open comments that we receive back as a company, that allows us to have those conversations then internally and within the company to instigate change.
我認為利害關係人對話存在的價值，由他帶來的跡象和他人對我們公司的公開評論所體現。這讓我們公司內部得以對話，並漸漸促成改革。

So what CSR Europe has brought us is the people, the understanding of a topic and this amazing capability of CSR Europe to bring the people together around the topics that matters to business.
歐洲企業社會責任組織為我們帶來關係人和對論題的深入了解。這些歐洲企業社會責任組織所聚集的關係人是十分驚人的能力，對企業來說也是非同小可的。
